I did the HD lip today. It's a little farther back than I think I would like but I'm satisfied with it. Used double sided tape but I'm thinking about adding some screws. Sorry for the pic quality and the bugs, the only camera I have is my phone and I haven't had time for a wash.

Looks good. Add some screws before it comes off on the highway.

Yeah I'm planning on either screws or zip ties. My only problem is that I don't have a drill lol

So what does this do? Is it an air dam to reduce aerodynamic drag on the undercarriage or is it cosmetic?

helps create a leak proof seal between your driveway and garage door. Or you can tape it to your car to look cool.

Looks great! Every time I see this done, I keep wanting to do it. Nice job! Some all aluminum pop-rivets would also work great. If you want an reasonably priced cordless (and compact) drill, the 12v Craftsman Li-Ion unit works great.

looks really great!

what do you call this rubber piece at home depot? trying to find one here in manila too, but i don't know where to look not to mention i don't even know what to ask the store attendants.

i've been wanting to put this as well as some on the underside of my hood to serve as seal between the front bumper/headlights as my engine gets really dusty.

It's a Frost King garage door seal. I believe it comes in 6ft and 9ft sections but I could be mistaken.

I used some foam rubber weather stripping to seal between the bumper/headlight and hood. Left part of the hood and bumper/headlight unsealed to let cool air in to my short ram air intake. Actually on the package of the weather stripping it listed sealing car doors as one of its uses.

I got bored and tried this mod today but the material I got doesn't adhere to the double sodded tap so I've got to try something else.

i used the plastic washers that came with the garage seal (pulled out the nails) and bought some "truss washer lathe screws" (8 x 9/16). Worked pretty good.

Yeah I saw those little nails, I may go with that method, may try like a rubber cement or something too to get the 3m tape to stick to the lip

It seems any car that's on lowering spring would needs to screw the lip into the bumper. I don't think double sided tape would hold for 1km with the roads we got here.
