How many mile did your car have when you bought it?

Mine had about 216, I am wondering how the hell did it get so many miles at the dealership.

Sometimes dealership sales or owners or I dunno. I noticed they sometimes drive different cars like every week. I guess your car was someone's car for like a week or so..

Oh and I had well 5x something.. They drove it for a dealership thats about 40 miles away.

mine had 9 kilometers = 5.59234073 mi

they drove it to fuel it up, so i picked it up at 13km. or 8.0778255 miles.

when they found my car, in brantford, ONT. they said they can drive it over (about 1200km or 745.645431 mi) or put it on the train and ship it over. i told them, ship it over :P

6. that seems to be the lowest number i could find regarding any new car. i guess thats the distance covered from the factory to the ship to the port to the truck and then to the lot. our van also had 6. our yaris was factory ordered, so no one was allowed to touch it when it arrived here...

Dealers will let prospective buyers take cars home for the weekend, while the price is being negotiated. That way you call all your friends/family and tell them about your new car...you drive it, and realize what a POS your old car is...

Then you come back monday, and they play hard ball on the price. They are hoping you'd be too embarrased to call all your friends back and tell them you couldnt afford the new car, and your driving the POS again...

Toyota wants us to Drive the cars 5 miles on a pre delivery inspection, so 5 should be the lowest possible. That is if everybody did their job.

once I finally met the red RS off the truck it had 8km! gah... then of course they have to set it up and PDI and put gas in, finally drove it off the lot with 14.1KM (looked at trip odo)

15 miles on delivery - salesman said I was first one to test drive it, and you could tell because some coating on head smelled bad as it burned off

once the sales rep process the deal.. they really dont care much about you anymore...bad experiece with Don VAlley toyota dealer in toronto.. everyone was so nice in there when you walk in to look at their car for sale ...sales rep, reception..but when you get to the point that you signed a deal.. sales rep changes his attitute,, reception was rude only because i needed to speak to a manager regarding undisclosed option added on the bill...grrrrrrr.. makes me so mad..no call back which i requested...makes sure you buy a car to someone you actually know..unfortunetely my close friend work for mitsubishi..and i didnt like their cars..

I called yesterday and the dealer told me because the car was in an other dealership, they had not other choice of driving the car to the garage....weird because Ford in my city have a trailer and when they are transfering vehicule they load them on the trailer...

2 things you can argue about.. 1st so can tell them that you could have just purchase it on that dealer instead...2nd see if they can waive or reduced the transport fee/ freight since it was driven already... if its me id be pissed.. coz once you drive ur brand new car off the dealer lot your car depreciate by thousands...thats just off the lot..imagine you getting it with 100 clicks on it the guy driving that probably pushed the car to its limit..the damage might occur later on though...*sigh* then again thats just me...:iono:

I bought my sedan with 18 miles on it, but i did test drive a LB, and it had about 80 on it, I guess the sedan is not as popular, but I dont care, I see LBs everywhere, I wanted something a little different because I use mine for business.

57 Miles, my dealer in Springfield, PA located it in Turnersville, NJ and drove it to Springfield. So I figure it was about 30 miles from NJ to PA. It probably had about 27 miles put on it in NJ.
