Hey guys,

When I put my Yaris into Reverse and turn the wheel fully in one direction, i get this weird rattling noise coming from the car, as well the steering wheel vibrates slightly.

Its only when the car is Reverse though.

Is there anything I should be concerned with? Or does anybody have this same sorta problem?

Auto.

Its not a to loud, just makes enough noise to be a noticeable sound when the radio is turned off, and you can feel it in the wheel.

Performed this repair on my 2009 Yaris 2-Dr H/B (with Automatic Trans) yesterday ... used an ordinary plastic zip tie & fastened the Transmission Control Cable to the bracket noted in the TSB above ... did it from above, as I couldn't raise the car on the jack high enough to allow me to crawl underneath ... luckily I have small hands!
Took about 5 mins ... luckily no more rattle!

Secure cable to part 33829 in the diagram.

Are the TSB's only good as you have a factory warranty, or are they for the life of the automobile?

TSBs are in no way tied to warranty parrameters. A TSB, or Technical Service Bulliten, is an internal advisement issued by Toyota to its servicing network to alert its advisors of known issues causing servicing calls. It is for life, unless superseded by another TSB.

Hi,
Does anyone know where this clamp is for the part noted (33829).
I can not find the TSB, and am not sure were on the outside of the car this is.

I have this exact issue, one a 2007 with 150miles.
Out of warranty time.

Just zip tie the cable to the bracket. That's been the fix for years
