Guys, by any chance you guys have tried putting aftermarket strut bar for your Yaris?

Thing is, I have access to some Cusco strut bars and lower tie bar but I'm not sure if it'll fit the NA Yaris.:iono:

since the front upper mounts on the yaris are a single mount, and thus different from any scion or something similar, i doubt anything will fit, but it should be very easy to make one. and lower tie bars won't do a damn thing to the yaris, it would just be for looks

Im not talking about just any strut bar, I'm talking about Cusco bars specifically made for the Yaris. Since its for the JDM Yaris, not sure if it'll fit the NA Yaris.

The guys at BC Auto here in Toronto advised me that they would be a fit.

only rear strut bars and sways would not to come from Japan at the moment. cusco most likely isn't going to make the rear strut bar since it isn't offered in Japan, i would expect Tanabe sooner or later to fabricate one.

According to this page (http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1240), he either means a lower tie bar or a strut tower bar.

What does the page have to do with anything?? He didnt post there..

He asked if there were any companies that make SWAY BARS, not lower bars or strut brace's... hence my quote to someone who replied to someone who mentioned sways.... ah, forget it. :barf:

For the Front sway bar, Cusco and C-One make them. For the front strut bar, Also Cusco and C-One make them. For the rear strut bar, Only C-One make them.

C-One actually makes two versions, and there are other companies as well that make both front and rears.

Thanks guys for your answers and sorry for the confusal.I just dont know which is the english word/term for this mechanical upgrade.I am talking about the bar that connects the upper parts of the two sides of the front part of the car, in the engine bay.

I guess it's called sway bar.

Real quick lesson...

Your front shocks, are called STRUTS. Your struts and springs mount inside the STRUT TOWER. A bar connecting the upper towers under the hood would be a STRUT TOWER BRACE or STRUT BRACE.

ooh, I want that C-One front SWAY bar. Is BulletProof the only place to get it? I have some trouble getting replies from them, not the greatest communication.
