The body and interior are in very good condition , but it smelled like it was shampooed . Also found grass in the trunk . How that got there is beyond me . Popped the hood and smelled of coolant . Water pump ? Decided to look for the oil leak and that was present like that of our '08 sedan . Passed on a test drive . May have considered it . Was a 1 owner vehicle and history was good . :frown:

I thought you might miss your sedan ! I hope a clean low mileage one without water pump and oil leak issues finds its way to you.

 Good to have a mix. When my 2007 Yaris gets to the point where I don't want to pay for a particular repair, I want to replace it with something I can 'camp' with in a pinch. I have three vehicles in mind -- a 2nd Gen Prius (several aftermarket companies have designed tents that custom fit to the hatch + the module CTScott invented (to allow for proper airbag function with the passenger seat removed) works with the Prius), -- a 1st Gen xB (would be a good inclement weather choice, also a short person posted to YouTube a great interior 'camper' conversion...I'd just need to remove the passenger seat (CTScott could develop one of his modules re an xB for his daughter), -- or a Fit (the seats allow so much flexibility--including carrying bikes without a rack). All 3 = good MPG choices, of course .

Sorry for bumping an old thread but where is that oil leaking from?
