Hello,
I recently purchased a one owner 2009 Yaris Sedan. The car has the height adjustable drivers side seat. I typically raise the seat as high as it will go for a better driving position for me. However, in the recent months I notice the seat will gradually sink lower and lower over time. I am guessing it is caused by getting in and out of the drivers side seat from my body weight. I weigh around 150lbs so I am not that heavy. I am able to raise the seat back up with about 1 - 1.5 pumps of the lever and it will stay in this position for a while.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is this normal? I know the seat track recall was recently performed and I am wondering if it is attributed from that repair.
I am just trying to determine if I have an issue with the seat itself sinking over time. Its more of a nuisance than anything. If anyone has any experience or feedback, feel free to chime in.
Thanks.
