Hello to all Yaris fans! I've been driving a rented Toyota Yaris for last few months, a pretty long drive test but this made me sure I want Yaris above all other cars for many reasons. However, I wonder which colour to purchase. Please give your suggestions about the best Toyota Yaris colour. Thanks.

As you said, it's a suggestion because it's purely a personal preference thing...

but you know what they say about black.

White or silver.

I like white or the dark gray/charcoal color (not the "regular" silver).

I flip-flop on color, depending upon the year and trim-level.

For Example:

2015 looks best in white or silver if you want the lower rear white reverse light (USA/Canada) to blend in better with your car, instead of sticking out like a sore thumb back there - and you want a bolder looking front end at the same time. On the flip side, the black or dark grey is better if you want to better blend the OEM black SE alloys (USA/Canada) and tone-down/blend the bold front-end design at the same time. If I didn't live in sunstroke, AZ I would have probably opted for silver/dark-gray instead of white - but out here the sun is just too intense/destructive to have dark/silver/metallic tone paint.

2012-2014 looks better in White, Silver or Red, otherwise those protruding, awkward rear taillights stick out like a huge sore thumb.

2007-2011 looks better in Silver to me, overall, and blends those cartoon-character headlights better with the vehicle. I also like it in black/gray/white though.

Personally, without nit-picking details/blending, I prefer cars in basic colors like white, silver, grey, black, or something like "brown sugar metallic" (not released in the USA ). Red, blue, green, yellow and such are bit too much for me, as a general rule.

I like silver but have black which is OK.

HATE white but any Yaris is a good idea...

I have an Olivemist '07 Sedan and I love it. Kinda rare cause I don't see too many of them in my area.

Yes its unusual. But years ago I looked at a used Yaris sedan that same color at a Ford dealer now that I see it. They wanted way too much so I passed.

They never offered olive mist AFAIK in the USA.

I personally feel that the best color is affected by the mods of the car. Some colors look nice as it rolls off the lot, but if you have upgraded wheels, body moulding, lighting, etc certain colors come alive.

There have been studies done on the topic of popular car colors.

Here's a summary of the results:

Haha. I own one. I've only seen a few too, that's why I'm guessing they're pretty rare. Only the Sedan variant..never seen an S version either.

Here's some old pics of mine. At times it looks very olive green and other times it look almost goldish

Once you go black, you can wash your car every damn day?
