I was in a rush today, had a dead alternator that I was trying to change out quickly & forgot to disconnect the battery. (Big bonehead mistake). I heard a pop when it happened too.... But can't figure out what went.
I got the alternator swapped and the car now starts, but.... lights are on on the dash (abs, tc, brake, airbag...)
No power steering, no locks, etc....
Seems like a main relay or fuse, but fuses look good.
Any suggestions? Where to start?

Check the fusible link located just behind the positive terminal ibn the main positive wire. It may have popped

I used a standard fusible link(14g wire type) as a temporary fix, just pushed an all through the cable, put the link into it, taped it up, and put the other end on the battery side... Car runs & everything works. Bought a new fuse thing from the stealership, ~$25.
