Parking bake lever travel too much, how to adjust

Hello guys,

I think my parking brake lever has too much travel. I mean it travel so high, when I try to release it the bottom notch gets stuck on the little switch holder (the one with the AUX port) and I can't release it fully. I have looked for manuals but they are all for the drum brake models. Mine has rear wheel disc brakes. How do I adjust the lever travel?
