Hi, I'm hunting for a used 2015-2017 yaris with low milage. I just rented one for a day to try it out and I'm impressed. I drove it at highway speeds 120km~70miles and when it's windy I found the car moving a little bit to the left and right.

-Would buying wider tires & larger rims add to stability at highway speeds? A large sand bag in the trunk? It'd lower gas milage I guess.

-I read somewhere that middle east models don't come with the wiring required to add cruise control, but I can see cruise control symbol when shining light above the odometer, does this mean it should theoritically have the required wiring and I'd just need to add the oem part?

Thanks!

Wider wheels and stickier tires will help with the cross wind wandering. Lowering the car will help too.

As for the CC, all Yaris share the same instrument cluster, so if the Middle East doesn't get CC, I'm sure it is not pre-wired for it.

Thanks for the help, bummer about the CC since it doesn't even come as an optional add on.
