Hi,

Not sure if this is just me or occurs in other 2015 Yaris. The driver door panel switch cover is very creaky. Whenever I close the door from the inside by pulling the handle the plastic is very creaky there.

I wonder if this is common?

Also, when the fan is on, it makes a bit of a high-pitch sound. Is this normal?

Thanks!

I have same year, same model and I have neither of those problems. You can take the door panel off and see if you have a loose screw or mounting clip.

The whining fan would seem to be a bigger concern. Mine is super quiet. Open your glove box and make sure the fan is mounted securely and the blades don't wobble.

Hi there. I had a 2012 Yaris and now have a 2017 and both doors creak/ed as you describe.

Thanks for letting me know that I am not the only one that has a creaky door handle. I did pop off the plastic panel and tightened the screws around. I still have the same creak..haha..oh well

My two Yaris are definitely some of the creakiest cars I've owned!

I got the recall done for the front door wiring harness, and seems like the squeaking went away. My 2016

that's good to know..just waiting for my recall letter and hopefully that will fix the issue.

Maybe saw something loose and fixed it?
