Hi guys,

I picked up a set of factory 16" Yaris SE wheels off a 2015 with 195/50/R16 tires for my 2014 LE that obviously has the stock 175/65/R15 steel wheels. I am 99% sure the SE wheels will bolt up with no issues but I just want to confirm that is the case because the offset differences between the steels and alloys are about 11mm.

Thanks!

I have the other style, was off the seller's white 2015 automatic(barf) SE. Gonna install them this weekend(weather permitting) aswell as my TRD rear sway bar I scored back in January.

just remember to use the correct Toyota alloy wheel nuts on genuine alloys.

Seller included them with the wheels. All is good there

Swaybar took me 15 minutes to install, was incredibly easy. I LOVE the look of these SE wheels on a CE/LE. A rear hatch spoiler and the SE rear bumper would compliment them nicely.

Update:

A note for anyone who ends up wanting to do this to their CE(L)/LE, your wheels WILL rub slightly at full lock, probably due to the fact that the SE has a different steering box ratio than the CE/LE. Not a big deal, but its something to note.

Did you notice any performance losses? I just got my 2014 CE and it included a set of factory summers 175/65/15 that weigh 30lbs. My current winters are aftermarket mags and the summers were steelies so I wanted to find some nice SE 16" mags which I did and installed some 195/50/16 tires. However, this 16" setup is almost 6lbs heavier at each corner at 35.5lbs vs the stock 30lb 15s. Most of my driving is on the highway so I wanted the extra stability for the 16s but looking at the weights, I fear the 6lbs may be significant.

As for the sway bar, I just installed mine last night and it's a great upgrade, the car corners very well now.

I didn't notice any performance downgrade. I sold my SE wheels at the end of 2020 and ran a set of 16x7 Advanti SA18s(wheels in my sig) I got from another YW member last year. I just scored a set of nice Enkei RP02 16x7s a couple days ago for this year, I wasn't planning on buying another set of rims but these came up for dirt cheap and local so I had to jump on them lol

Tires are BFGoodrich Comp-2 Sport, 205/45/R16.

Nice, I started looking at some Enkei for the lightweight benefits but there was nothing local and I got all 4 SE 16" for less than one new Enkei wheel so it was hard to let that deal pass me. Can't wait to see how the car handles with the 196/50/16 over my current studded winters that are only 175/70/15

it'll make quite a difference, even on crappy all seasons.
