Hello everyone

My yaris is currently riding on Eibach pro-kit springs but I'm a bit disappointed with the drop in height that it gave me so I'd like to go lower. I've considered tein s tech springs or tanabe DF210 springs but shipping costs to South Africa is quite expensive. Not sure if this has been discussed here but I just want to find out if 2nd gen yaris coilovers will fit on a 3rd gen yaris (nsp130/xp130)? No retailers in South Africa specifically stock coilovers for the 3rd gen but I will be able to get 2nd gen coilovers locally..

Any help will be appreciated

Yes, suspension between 2nd and 3rd gen is interchangeable

There aren't many options marketed specifically for 3rd gen. I've seen KW and Bilstein available out of the UK though

I'm a bit of a newbie to the Yaris, so forgive me for digging this up.

I'm considering buying a 2013 Yaris 2 door hatchback (in the USA, from my understanding this was still a true built in Japan Toyota? Not a Mazda?). I see pretty much zero aftermarket suspension listed as fitting 2013 Yaris online.

To boil it down, I'm wondering if the earlier year suspension parts do indeed fit the USDM 2013 Yaris hatchback? IE, if I buy TRD suspension for a 2007 Yaris hatchback it will fit the 2013?

Not that I expect to do a ton of modifying, but I'd like to have some options if I bought this 2013. If there's nothing out there I may just pass it up. :iono:

I'm also curious about exhaust, but I suppose that's for a different thread!
