hey guys

thinkin of trading in my 04 matrix xrs for an 07 yaris hb

thinkin about the 3dr w/ the b package (power mirrors, rear wiper, mudflaps, 4speakers)....or because its only about 500 more a base 5dr (has all the same features, but w/ power locks and, well, 2 extra doors

not sure which to get quite yet, as i prefer the looks and mildy cheaper price of the 3dr, but the 5dr means i can reuse my compustar alarm/starter w/ the power door locks (and ill get 2 more doors, lol)

any opinions on that?

also wonderin what parts from an xB will fit on a yaris.....intake? springs?

matrix is a nice car. why would you want to put scion parts on the yaris? there are lots of yaris parts.

I'm perfectly happy not having the extra 2 doors, but I know some US owners here wish they could have them. I'm not 100% sure, but you might have better luck with things like side skirts, etc. that work on the JDM Vitz. And I have to agree about why try to use parts meant for a xB, there are many TRD and aftermarket parts available for the Yaris. Certainly more than there was a year ago when I bought mine. Welcome to the world of Yaris!

i would get the 5-door, just because i could use the extra space. plus, there's lots of aftermarket (overseas) parts for the 5-door.
