Despite the dealer's best efforts to get me to buy a Corolla, I stuck to what I wanted, and I so long as he doesn't screw up, I'll be signing the papers this afternoon!

They didn't have any! They had blazing blue, medium metallic silver and polar white. And I liked the blue best. Although the red is cute, it looks like a ladybug.

And I will certainly post pics!

yeahh..my dealer did that to me too.
they say all these great things about Corolla..but my heart stuck with the Yaris since December when i was still in New Jersey.
move back to SoCal..went to Longo about a month after and took home the Blazing Blue...:biggrin:

i was going for the Red also...but they don't have any at the time..so i got no choice.
i thought Longo as the biggest Toyota in the nation should have plenty of choice..but they said Yaris sell fast and the red ones sold faster than other.

The experience at the dealer was nothing like I had imagined it would be. It was my first time buying a car, so I was on guard the whole time. But the other shoe never dropped! They kept to the agreed price (invoice) and had no problem when I declined all the extended warranties and such. They washed it, waxed it, said "Congrats!" and I was on my way! They rock.

I'm so in love with this car. *sigh*

It was my first car purchase from a dealership, too.
The other 2 cars I've owned were cheap, (cash) and private sales..

They tried the Corolla crap, but after that it was all good :biggrin:

I was shocked that it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, too...
