Hey, everyone.
I just got myself a 2007 Yaris Liftback! I bought it to compliment my wild & crazy 1970 Datsun 240Z.
I need something like the Yaris to bring some sanity to my car lifestyle.
My Yaris Liftback is a manual with the remote keyless entry and the Power Package w/ 15-in. steel wheels.
It's a $13,440 sticker car that I got for $12,775 + fees.
They only had one and it was the exact color I wanted--WHITE
I've always had old and fast cars. This is the first brand new, economical, front wheel drive car I've owned. It's a huge change for me!
Believe it or not I absolutely love this car! The Yaris Liftback w/ 5MT definitely has character. That buzzy engine, the quirky styling, the road noise and the vague steering . . . those are flaws that give the car it's lovable personality!
Journalists and magazines may rate other cars higher but you just can't fall in love with a car purely by numbers on paper or the opinions of others. A car just has to have a certain "X-factor" that turns you on. I think the Yaris had it for me!
The stereotype that Toyota cars have no soul may not hold true for this car. My Yaris seems to have one albeit a very gentle and soft soul.
Of course my 240Z gives me a bigger thrill ride but that's another story . . .
