Mobil 1 versus Royal Purple

That is the thing. They are only opinions. Don't believe the hype. Just know they're both better than regular oil.

I've used both and I'll be honest... I can't tell the difference. I do know I can get one cheaper than the other though.

I get the 5-quart jugs of Mobil1 5W-30 at walmart for $19.99. After taxes, it works out to $4.33/quart out the door. The cheapest I can get Royal Purple for is $6.50/quart out the door.
