I got rid of my Chevy Impala for a 09 Yaris on saturday. Love it.
Shaq wouldnt think so. But oh well.
We are a family of 5 and everyone fits (yes the kids are young/small).
It is the metallic dark gray 4 dr sedan.
No options at all, well cd player and Automatic.

this car is used to get me to my 2 jobs. I drive tons everyday, so fuel economy was the driving force.

Will post some pics later in the week.

I am thinking of getting some cool rims at some point. Most likely in the spring. But i want a set that will fit the OE tire size. My car is as basic as it gets. No power door locks, no power windows, no cruise, no pwr mirrors. Its like 1975 all over again. But it makes it fun for the kids.

:)

i just scored my rims/tires off craigslist for $250

i would recommend checking there.. save you tons of money. just make sure they arent warped or bent.. I got the ones i did because they came with tires.. so now i have a set of wheels/tires for spring/summer/fall and a set for winter :)

TinyGiant,

I was thinking that as well. $250 for any rims with rubber is a steal.
Is there ever any good deals or items on eBay?

John

ebay usually means paying shipping.. which usually kills a good deal :(

Being new here i'm sure there is a thread with links to decent sites that sells after market stuff. i will be looking there soon. I'm happy with the interior.
Just want to change the rims. I hate hub caps.

Wanna know something funny, we our on both sides of the equation.
Our main family vehicle is:

.....

......

A 2005 Chevy Suburban, no not a Denali or Tahoe.
The biggest of the bigs. We use it for pulling the camper.
MPG = 14.
But wife can walk to work. So it does a ton of sitting.

Cali yaris here on the forum can get pretty much anything for the car.. there are a few vendors on here in the sponsors section that give great deals to members here.

I got my rims on Craigslist as well. I paid 150.00 for them and they came with tires to. It took me about two months of looking but I found them and couldn't be more happy. I drove on the tires for about 3 months and just got some new rubber on them last week. All 4 for 280.00. Well Happy hunting and welcome to YARiSWORLD:thumbup:
