My youngest daughter was 10 months old and had a febrile seizure. It went on for at least 20 minutes. Just before the paramedics arrived I was holding her in my arms and she turned the most horrible shade of bluish/purple I have ever seen in my LIFE. (she then vomited and came back...) Later, when I took a CPR class in case it ever happened again, I learned from the instructor that it was the vomiting that saved her. If it hadn't been for that she was gone.
*sigh*...that was a long time ago but when I think back all those same terror/panic feelings come back.
What is something you've done that was far out of your box...went out on a ledge...

I don't know what i was thinking. I was working at a bank and we had this preganant customer that would come in at least 3 times a week. After seeing her for about 5 months straight, her belly seemed to stay the same size. So my dumb ass blurt out with out thinking..."So when are you going to have that thing?" The best one was in in joke. You'd have to be a part of the team to appreciate it. But one of the better jokes i've played is putting sticky tape over the off hook button on the office work phone. The look on peoples faces when the phone is ringing even after they've taken it off the hook is priceless.
