mmm both... probably broiled to retain moisture

(the best way to have fish.. something I made up while making food with what was left in my fridge at the time.. Put butter and a premade pesto sauce on top of the fish and bake it as normal.. you can sprinkle some bread crumbs or cornmeal on th top too if you want... its amazing.. the basil really works well with the fish and the oil keeps it nice and moist.. we've done it on salmon, cod (awesome on the cod) and pollack..
