View Full Version : DVD-R(+R) playback?

Has anyone tried, or know if MP3 or WMA files can be played from a DVD-R on the OEM head unit?
I guess I could always try myself, but I'd rather not waste a blank DVD :redface:

DVD-R will not work...you get an ERROR 1....but I can't tell you about +R cause I don't have any handy....I would gather prolly not tho.

I mean, I could have my entire CD collection on 2 DVDs, that would be sweet.

it says in the owners manual only cd-r's.... i had checked as soon as i got the car..

I had done the same, but you never know....plus it gave me an excuse to take a break at work to check it out:biggrin:
