got my yaris yesterday

Had to drive from las vegas to LA to get it, and it only took me 4 hours to get out of LA :eyebulge: !!!!

But it was worth it!

4,300 miles on it, and it cost me 12,400. Power package, with automatic..

i've looked on craigslist for like 4 months trying to find the right one, and other than a few scratches here and there, its perfect.

hub caps were scratched up pritty good, but I got new ones for free.. so going to sand them down and spray paint them black.

going to throw some highly illigal tint on it tomorrow.

but 4 hours of stop and go in LA, and 80-85mph from LA to LV, and still got 33.14 mpg. sooo happy, now its time to go 55-65mph, and :bow: 40ish mpg!

I have a few reasons why I get limo tint.

1) its vegas, tint is a requirement in 115+ degree heat.
2) dont have to worry about male ego at 55mpg in a 65mph =P
3) I have glaucoma, so it helps out with halos and blurring.
4) makes the car look better (imo)

Tint is the first mod anyone should get. Not only does it look great, it protects the interior from fading and keeps the interior cooler.

las vegas (where I live) is the only place I haven't been ticketed, or talked to from cops about my tint. And i've had my limo tint all the way around 3 of my 4 cars i've owned for the past 8 years. AZ being the place I got the most tickets (they are fixit tickets in AZ, and they dont put them the system.. so if you dont do anything about it.. they dont care nor do anything about it)

35 I mean.. I did the darkest legal.. I think he actually went darker on the back window. Still seems everyone is darker.

yeah we'll see what happens.. Guy at the tinting place I got all my cars done, has had the same car for the past few years, and he tinted his front lights and back lights, and they still look good.

nope, im going to take it back and have him retint the back right one, it has a few bubbles that dont seem to be going.

Ended up ripping the tint off, and having them painted (not smoked) the same color as my car.

Congrats, :biggrin: I've got a 2007 4dr stick and at my last fillup averaged 38.6 mpg. My overall mpg is 34.2 mpg. On the hway on long trips I've gotten 44 mpg.
