NST pulley question
Seems nice, but is it the best bang for your buck performance wise?
If not, than what would be? Thanks ahead

NST products are top-of-the line. I have the whole pulley set, as well as the SSK.
Performance-wise, you can't go wrong with these babies. Some of my favorite mods so far for sure. ![]()

I like my CR-Lite crank pulley. I can see the difference when accelerating.

i got all NST pulleys. Underdrive, Water pump and alt pulley. i could feel a diff when i put them in. nothing huge.
i went with the underdrive because i am going to turbo in the future. get crank pulley if you are going to s/c. |

Best bang for the buck as a first engine mod, definitely, it's an improvement you can really feel (especially if you drive a manual), I "only" have the regular CR-Lite and it was a big difference in engine response, the underdrive one should be just that much sweeter

Do these fit the 2NZ-FE (1.3L)? Might invest in the set later on.

Should I just go with the CR-lite or should I get the underdrive? I don't plan on doing a turbo and Ill prob. wont get the water pump and alt pulleys any time too soon.

All of the NST pulleys, 10% underdrive included, are in stock in both red and grey.

rookie question - by saying 'the belt is re-tensioned for the smaller pulley(underdrive)' mean i have to do anything else? i'm not the most mechanically-inclined and looking for easiest install. i'm want best bang-for-the-buck for na engine and i've heard nothing but good things about these. if it's more work i'll just get the lite-pulley!

'the belt is re-tensioned for the smaller pulley(underdrive)' means that the difference is small enough so you do NOT need to buy a shorter belt. For the instal of any of those 2 pulleys you WILL have to loose the alternator so the work effort will be the same. If you are not very mechanically inclined you will probably need a shop to install it for you. Is not that difficult but you need an Air gun to loose the bolt on the crank |
