Micro Image presents: RBK Spoiler

In partnership with our own tk-421 and his shop, we present a "new" design spoiler for the Yaris liftback, the "RBK" spoiler. Anyone who was considering a "pond" style should be very pleased with this modified design; it follows the lines of the car beautifully!

These are super nice quality, fiberglass, with a metal plate inside for extra strength. Will include all hardware, instructions, and they are designed for EASY installation.

$175 will include FREE shipping, limited numbers at this time, should be in stock within a week.

Here are some teaser pictures, when I get them I'll do a proper photo shoot (no offense tk!)

None taken! I do realize these pics are not exactly great (I was in a rush). I'm sure you'll do a much better job once they get there.

I am currently building a PDF with pictures and steps to install the spoiler. We added some rather nice features in order to make it super easy to install (we did it in 10-15 minutes and we took our time).

I am including 3M tape and 3 screws per unit, although you only need two (just in case).

I don't have the exact measurements handy, but I can get you that info by tomorrow. Something like 5 inches sounds about right. It sticks out pretty much the same amount as the flat area of the rear bumper.

Thanks! Here's a couple of shots taken when we were working on the prototype (this is not the final design). Lots of rough edges here, but it's only to give you a better idea of the dimensions:

w00t for more member-designed parts!

I'd like to draw attention to the front edge of the spoiler, most of the ones on the market today have a pretty big square "step" there which does not help at all with wind resistance, while this design has a nice tapered edge for slightly lower drag

Very nice, clean design. Thanks for spending time and money to invest in the YW community TK.

Wow, I'm really impressed! How would this mount? Screws and 3M tape, or just the tape?

We'll be showing you exactly how to mount it and where it mounts with some more pics -- stay tuned!

And no, you don't have exactly the same thing in Europe. Ahough this one is based on that design and is similar, there are important and substantial design differences. We think they are improvements
