Unknown connector ?
I found this connector between the shifter and the handbrake, under the panel.
Can someone tell me what is it for? The car is Yaris 1.0 litre. Uploaded with ImageShack.us |

That connector is for the console mounted power door lock switch.

It is only used on Yaris with power door locks. A door lock switch would be mounted in place of one of the hole covers.
My Yaris, which came from the factory with power door locks, has a switch there and also the switch on the door.

If you have power door locks, you should have a switch that looks like this.
That connector is for switch. |

What is that security box for? Is it the same as the red light blinking on my dash?
