deciding on wheel size..

anyone want to post pics of different sizes of wheels on your car so i can get an idea of what i want?
i like more tire on the yaris so i'm most likely going to go with 15's or 16's
but i would like to see other sizes just incase :)

ok, I'm going to put it like this, this is my personal opinion

205/50/15 with a serious drop is what I like

205/45/16 with the right offset and a drop also looks kick ass

I would go no larger than 15-16 myself take a look around there are lots of pictures with similar set ups

I totally agree. I just put 15" black konig heliums on with the factory tires and it looks great (I'll post the pics as soon as I take some...). There are so many advantages to having smaller wheels (especially on this car). If you are at all on the fence about what size to go, you might want to consider staying under 17" - IMHO.

Take a lookie here:

http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6115

In short:

15" - More comfort, light weight, great if you're autocrossing
16" - Good compromise between comfort, looks and weight
17" - Looks great without being too rough
18" - For looks only, heavy rims are a burden on our small engine
19"+ - for gangstas only hahahaha

As promised, here is a pic with the 15" Konig Heliums....Keep in mind, this was a pretty inexpensive way to go, and in my opinion they look great:

Wheels: ~ $400 with shipping (buywheelstoday.com)
Factory Tires: Free
Black Spline Drive Lugs: $24.95 plus shipping (ezaccessory.com)
Mounting/Balancing: $40 tax included (Belle Tire)

I believe they told me they had the bronze in stock when I called them (they have a toll-free number on their website)

Hey KwonSau, I just ordered from buywheelstoday.com! They had a lot of choices and prices were good. I got Konig Minuz in 15x6.5

Rotas are definitely a good deal too, got their GT3s on other car now.

I found them when I searched for wheels on yahoo and I was really impressed with their shipping time.

FYI, I kept going back and forth between the Minuz and the Heliums myself. The Minuz will look killer on the black car.
