Drivers seat - wire sticking through cover on back.

I'll disengage lurk mode and ask a question

On the back of the drivers seat there's a couple of wires have poked through about one third of the way up the back. They're running horizontally and they feel like strong spring wire like you'd find in a couch. They barely poke out, but they sure hurt if you stick your hand on them.

What are they, I assume they're something to do with shape or support? Seat feels the same to me.

How do I fix it? How do I even get the back of the seat covering off?

Thanks muchly forum!
