Hi Everybody...
We just got a 2 door hatchback. Only the second day so we are still walking on air and enjoying making all those discoveries of things we didn't know about our wonderful Yaris.
The car reviews seemed to favor the Honda Fit, but the Yaris is a much better fit for us. We love the looks, the economy, the thoughtful design, and most of all... it's so fun to drive.

Can anybody tell me where to find some sliders and crinkle fries?

kidding aside, I'm glad I got my "escape pod" or as it's been affectionately described, my "caja de zapato."

3 door shoe box.

Hello everyone

Hello from the Yaristocrat, here in the Deep South of the USA. I bought my 2009 Bayou Blue 3-door liftback 2 weeks ago and I've been lurking here on the forums ever since. I'm looking forward to joining in on the Yarii discussions and meeting some new folks!

Welcome to YarisWorld. Good color choice! Actually, it took me a while to get used to it.

I wish I could say it was a choice--it was the only one available! I was sort of on an emergency buying spree--my old car died, and I went to one of those mass credit union/dealer car sales and there was my Yaris! I was drawn to it immediately. I will say that I absolutely love the color and I'm glad that's what was available. I've been having a blast with this little car so far!

Whats up everyone, Im still on the fence on whether or not I want a Yaris. If I do get one, itd be a white 2dr hatch 5spd. Just finished school at UCSB (Gooooooo Gauchos!!) and am now living in LA. This place looks like a good group of people so I thought Id introduce myself.

Oh and my SN refers to my first car, a AE86 corolla, which if I get a Yaris, I can tear down completely with no worries

Great site

I got my Vitz RS 5dr M/T, two weeks ago and only one tank of gas. Join YW when I first saw it on the lot and knew I wanted it. Thanks you all for this great site. I also started a few mods base on the info I gathered here and with Garm help at Micro Image. Hope to put a few more hp under the bonnet (hood) for here in Jamaica we can use it, cops just don't care about speeding in fact over taking a cop is a common practice along with street racing.
