Quick pics of my mounted wheels
So I finally took some fast pictures of my wheels mounted. Don't know why I took so long, lol. Anyways they are Volk Ce28N, 14x5.5 +36, with Yokohama AS430 185/65, on the stock suspension.
yea, i need better pics, but i'm too lazy. Now that is some wheel gap. oh crud, isn't there a thread for this? Oh well, can't seem to delete the thread. Sadly money has stopped me from any more mods for the moment.

Why the tall tires? Wheels look great.

^ 14 inch wheels. 65s are what is required in order to maintain proper overall diameter.
With those wheels, a dash of colour on those calipers, and fresh paint on the drums would look spectacular.

Yea it could, I saw a Yaris that had something similar done. It also might attract too much attention. I have locking wheel lugs, but pro's are pro's, and that won't stop them.
The tall tires are for overall diameter, and to just give some protection for the wheels. Don't need them getting damaged.

Yay, now I'm not the only one with these wheels.
It's hard to find a tire without a huge sidewall at this size, not that I'd go smaller, the ride is nice and with my Azenises, there's not much sidewall flex. |

For what they cost I am surprised at how good these tires seem to be. not that there are too many windy roads around here, but the limit seems to be quite high.
I hate taking pics, but i might take some nicer ones if i'm in the mood. Go Gideon! We're the only two crazy enough around. I kind of like the wheel gap, but I am sure it will be lowered when I get a better suspension setup.

Nice. I think you, Gideon, and Loren are on those rims. You can always go with the standard red or yellow brake calipers, or glossy black; and flat black on the drums???
