HID xenon ballast position

Hi could someone help me, whats the best place for the ballast in an 09 hatchback?

and what do i have to look about for when i'm installing them ?

i put 1 of the 2 between the battery and the fuse box. kinda just rushed it in there.

it might not be a very good idea though.

most fasten them to the underside of the headlight housing. Im not quite sure how.

Does the '09 not have that compartment for ballasts beneath the headlights or under them in the bumper?

There are some threaded holes on the strut towers that you can use for the brackets. The battery side already has something bolted there, but you can piggy back-it.

Not sure about the LB, but the sedan headlights have a mounting point underneath each
one cause the Beltas have a factory HID option. That's where I put the ballasts for my headlights.
For my foglights I mounted the ballasts behind the front bumper. Drilled 3 holes, screwed in the
ballast and put a zip tie arund it for extra security. Here's a pic of my foglight ballast. Maybe you
can use the same spot for your headlights.

Im not going to lie.... mine arnt THAT secure BUT...... they havnt moved at all since they were anchored down under a few wires.... you can see where I grounded them too. :)
