1 is good, 2 are better!
My wife's van broke down this week so I took the rental car, and she drove my Yaris for a week.
She loved it so much that we traded in our van for a 2nd yaris! We now have his and her's cars. Her new (used) car is as follows... 2009 Yaris 4 door Sedan Automatic Ext. Color Flint Mica Int. Color Dark Charcoal Full Power Package / Alloy Wheels Toyota Certified Used Mileage 16,708 $12,450 before tax / title / license I couldn't believe the price! We paid 11.5K for my 2008 and it had 30K miles on it. 1K more for 1/2 the miles? H*LL YEA! The car had been on the lot since December, but they only marked it down on Saturday to 12,450. On Sunday night I saw the the car online and it was exactly what she was looking for. We ended up driving 2 hours out of our way to look at this car, and liked it so much that we put money down on the car to hold it. The CRAZY thing is that not 30 seconds AFTER we put money down on the vehicle, another couple came into the dealership and said that they wanted to hold the same car (the had driven the car on Saturday and we didn't know it). Ya snooze ya loose! I'll have pictures for you guys later, but we couldn't be happier! p.s. I wish Toyota would offer the 2.9 financing on used Yaris's! It would have saved us some money. |

Well, those Flint Mica 2009 Yaris sedans are BEAUTIFUL, so no wonder those other people wanted it too.

Grats on the timing on that! I had something similar happen when I was looking at an xB, but I was on the opposite end that missed out. Can't complain since I got a Yaris in the end!

Knowing what you want and being able to react when the time is right pays off. I haven't seen Toyota's sales numbers lately. With all the negative press, now might be a good time to make a deal.

all used YARIS ( ours included ) have been sold by the TOYO dealer where we got the 2010 . Seems like they're selling better than the new YARIS on their premises . Must be due to the extended warranty of 7 years / 100,000 miles , better dickiering with a used vehicle , and some banks or credat unions having low rates for used vehicles . The 1st generation of SCION XBs ( 1.5 ltr. ) are moving off the lots as well . Some are going close to what you could buy them for when new , especially those CERTIFIED . . XBs are bit of a novelty item since only produced 3 years ( 2004 - 2006 ) .

Good deal. What she saves on gas will pay for the Yaris.

Myself and my wife had matching Yaris's up until the beginning of this year, when she upgraded to a Mini Cooper :(

I've included some pictures of our two cars One thing I don't understand though... is the difference between the tac's in both cars. I looked at the Yaris manual and they have diagrams for both styles (my 08 and her 09). Which is better? Any reason for the differences? I still like my white tach better. |
