FS: OEM Cruise Control Stalk with Wire and Screws

I have a couple of brand new, OEM cruise control stalks with the cruise control wire that connects the stalk to the clock spring and the two mounting screws. If you're in the CT area, I can give you a hand with the installation.

I also have the pins necessary for installing it on a 2008 and older Liftback or a 2009 and older Sedan:

It will fit a 2010 Sedan.

Magnum23 installed cruise control on his 2009 Sedan. His Puerto Rico spec Yaris had the wiring at the steering column, but did not have the wire from the ECM to the column, so he had to run that wire to make it work on his.

Look at this page of this thread for more info:

Check out this thread for all of the details, but in a nutshell all 06 to present US and Canadian Yaris ECMs have had the functionality built it.

Is this DIY fairly easy or difficult?

It's fairly easy. On your 08 it would require adding the pin to the ECM connector, running the wire through the passenger side firewall grommet and under the dash, across to the steering column, adding the two pins to the connector on the column, removing the airbag, drilling the 1" hole for the stalk in the lower steering wheel cover, mounting the stalk, and moving the horn wire from the existing connector to the stalk's connector.

No one has written up a soup to nuts DIY on doing an OEM stalk on an 07 or older, but all of the pieces mentioned above are detailed in the DIYs linked to in this thread:

Correct. On 09+ Liftbacks and 2010+ Sedans all of the wiring is in place.

So I'm assuming the OEM stalk + wire + ECM wire from the other thread = $50 shipped?

The girl in this tandem wants cruise in her Yaris badly. Esp after a stiff speeding ticket a few weeks ago. Her car is an '08 LB Automatic if that helps. I put it in my '09 LB MT quite easily myself, but hers sounds like a more daunting task.

Please let me know Scott if you still have enough available and if so, I can Paypal you tonight.
