'08 sedan room: needed an 8 foot ladder ...

so we went to a hardware store to pick one up on sale . Managed to fit it in by folding down the passenger side rear seat , removing the headrest of front passenger seat and reclining it far as possbile protected with a towel , and then putting the ladder in top first through the trunk . Had about a foot more before it would touch the windshield . The better 1/2 sat in the back holding the ladder in place . Thing is , the people at the hardware store were saying there's no way you're going to fit it in that car with sh*tgrins . Guess who's grinnin' now . Who needs a FIT with the magic seats when you can have a Yaris sedan with miracle seats . So , what large things have you been able to place in your sedan ?
