turbo timer

just picked up a blitz fatt dc 3,
has anyone hooked one of these up to an automatic trans car? is there a switch to set up the timer rather then the hand brake? or what wires are the ones to tap in the steering column? i know the 2008 yaris just can not find anything for an 02 echo.

with my wrx the owners manual even says to idle the car for a few minutes. its water cooled.

Check out this thread on the MI forum. It was info for a person that was wiring up a remote starter, but it details the ignition switch wire functions. Rather than using a manual switch, you could use the normally closed contacts of a relay to trigger the timer and wire the coil of the relay to the ignition switched power. That way when you kill the engine the timer will automatically come on.

ok, so i wired it up today, i have 6 wires coming off my ignition switch.
i did 1 and 4, turbo timer works, im missing 1 wire to connect. when the key comes out the sterio rad fan and lights all go out. baisicly trying to figure out what other wires to tap into.

Battery Constant 12v+ Positive Wire (+): White/red
Battery Constant 12v+ Positive Wire Location: Ignition Switch Harness

2
Starter Positive Wire (+): Black
Starter Positive Wire Location: Ignition Switch Harness

3
Ignition Positive Wire (+): Black/Yellow
Ignition Positive Wire Location: Ignition Switch Harness

4
Second Ignition Positive Wire (+): Black/Red
Second Ignition Positive Wire Location: Ignition Switch Harness, See Diagram

5
Accessory Positive Wire (+): White/Blue
Accessory Positive Wire Location: Ignition Switch Harness

You need the ACC wire, which is white/light blue wire.
