Anyone running 195/65-15 tires?
I have been looking for steel 14" rims since shortly after I got my car. I found stock 15" steelies and mounted like new, studded 195/60-15 snow tires on them. My stock tires need replacing at 44xxx miles and i am considering 195/65-15s as the replacements. Thanks for any info/thoughts, Bill C

Personally I would not. If you have to buy brand new for summer then go with the more traditional sizes:
195/55-15 195/60-15 205/55-15 225/50-15 The tires will be cheaper and you will do better at maintaining correct ratios for your speedometer, etc.

One of my old steelies has that size tire on it. it worked fine, and was barely taller than the other regular size. Like Fnkngrv said, though, The traditional sizes will be cheaper :)
