Rental car shootout; Yaris,Lincoln Town car and V6 Mustang......
Yaris is the butt of all jokes.... They put old Saturn SL2 alloys on it. Looks like a 2009?

That was a howl. Even though the Yaris won, I wish Rut did a bit more to the Yaris (at least better tires).

I only saw part of the show (up to where Yarii got stuck in the mud near the Mustang). I'm quite positive, given a proper driver, the Yarii would not have gotten stuck at all.

I was laughing that they didnt use the tow hook. It would have been a lot cleaner for rut in that mud

what did the call the stang and Yaris at one point?

I think they called the Yaris a lemondrop...but forgot the stang

That I do have to say was hilarious and it was pretty cool that after the mud and deep sandy terrain the LB did seem to perform well. Anyone else notice that they did put an underpanel on the LB? You could see it when he is craning the thing. All in all a great season finally...I laughed my ass off almost the entire hour!

I did find it rather interesting that the lincoln had the mud tires and raised suspension, but Rut did nothing like you said with the Yaris. Even if he had put spacers in the stock springs that would have made a difference and like you said for the love of God better tires at least even if they were just mud/snow tires!

I think the problem is that for their typical fan base they can't just let a little Japanese car totally kick the butt of a couple of American cars. If they made the Yaris a bit more "Crashy", then the Yaris would have just swept the whole thing.
