Hi there..

1- What is the best width for 17 inch that will not make any problem on the HB?

2- The same question above but with 18 ?

3- On 18 is there any problem on HB ?

4- The stock rims come with 5.5 width.. what is the max witdh i can put " the car is the 1.3 normal engin " ?

5- The stock rims 15 inch >> any i diea how much they wight ?? with out the tire.

6- What u guys mean by rubbing ??

7- What is the exact use of the strut tower bar and why do we need them ?

8- if 17 inch what is the perfect wight should i get them and 18 inch as well ?

9- If the i get the 17 or 18 > but they are the same diameter of the stock with the tire, and the same wight >> do i still have less power ? ????

10- how do i know the offset size is perfect for my car ?

I would be so thankfull for the experianced answers ...

All the time you spent making this list could have been time used wisely using the search box. Try it out, you will find the answers to all of your questions.

I have 17 7.5 and no rub

2- The same question above but with 18 ?
i dunno

i dunno

i dunno

i dunno

when u turn, it touches the plastics inside (surroundings of the wheel) or even the paint outside cuz its so big (that didn't sound rite?? )
7- What is the exact use of the strut tower bar and why do we need them ?
tightens ur front tires. Its kinda like it keeps them straight so u can take better turns...make sure ur lowered to the ground..thats adds more effect.
8- if 17 inch what is the perfect wight should i get them and 18 inch as well ?
i dunno..18 is u dont trave lthat much...how much miles u put a day? bumps in ur place? holes? etc etc. condition, ur environemnt..how is it?
9- If the i get the 17 or 18 > but they are the same diameter of the stock with the tire, and the same wight >> do i still have less power ? ????
u will lose power no matter what unless u get the very expensive 17s or 18 inch rims tha weights very light. buy an intake and it will balance it a bit out
10- how do i know the offset size is perfect for my car ?
try going to tirerack.com or w/e...they ahve those calculators thingy. i dunno much bout that...ask other emembers or search.
I would be so thankfull for the experianced answers ...
thanks alot ..

Do a search on strut bars, etc etc.

ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS:

DO YOU TRAVEL A LOT?

WHAT IS THE ROAD CONDITION IN TOWN OR PLACE U GO TO A LOT?

DO YOU WANT TO BE ORIGINAL OR GET THE SAME LIKE EVERY1? (RIMS)

IF U WANT OTHER RIMS(WWW.WHEELWEIGHTS.NET)
RESEARCH AND FIND LOWEST WEIGHT AT A PRICE YOU CAN PAY, I KNOW I DID (stares at his bronze hanabis)(don't get mine!!!!!!! or I'll kill u)

IS IT AUTOMATIC OR MANUAL?

IF ITS AUTOMATIC, DON'T BOTHER GETTING STRUT...COME ON? UR NOT GONNA RACE R YA???? GET SPRINGS INSTEAD..TRD 1.5 DROP FRONT AND BACK, LESS KILL ON UR STOCK SHOCKS N STRUT UNLESS U BUY COILS COVER BUT HTATS SOMETHING ELSE.

Okay bye

oops, it doesn't tighten ur front tires, i meant ur front 2 shocks....

think of the front too shocks as legs, okay now it will keep them straighter. Look at hte picture and u will understand it..
Correct me if I'm wrong.

traveling i use my other car " 02 530 I "
roads r perfect here and smoothly
i want " wow " chrome rims to give wow look to the yaris >> got the piont ?
its automatic,, not for race.
im thinking also to go for 20 inch but it will make me go in other problems. engin cant handel the 20. its 85 hp only 20 will be havey on the engin.. maybe later on i might change the engin and put the 1.5 toyota xa or the 1.8 corolla but not now after a year maybe...
so for now i will go for 17 or 18 >> 18 is nice and look nice too.. with 40 or 35 tire...

someone on here has 20s on there yaris not a recommendation but you can squeeze 18s under there no problem I think 17s look perfect you can also drop it with those and they look even better.

17x7-7.5------- 215/40r17----- +40-45 offset if you are going to lower it
18x7-7.5------- 215/35r18----- +40-45 offset " "

20x7.5-8 225/30R20 Rock them Bitches, but you can't lower it, it will be fine with the 1.3L we only have 96 at the wheels with the 1.5L

do u guys have wheel spacers in the rears? i just wanted the rears to look almost flush with the fender.. but not totally flushed so that it won't rub... sorta off topic, but oh well, S69 had a bunch of questions already, might as well put it out there too! hehe

So okay.
Go with 18 inch
Don't bother taking hte strut tower, you won't need them.
get an intake to balance the weight u added onto your car..
mmmget an exhaust
lower it a bit..go TRD if you want to keep ur stock shocks and strut in good shape other wise if you go lower, u will kill them faster and will have to replace them with w/e u want in a year or two.

just put a lotus engine in your car and you will fine. =]
