Oh yeah, a 19mm crows foot. Can't torque the ball joint without one. I found that mine had dissapeared and had to borrow one from the neighbor

And as for parts stores having that seal, I can't even get a damn axle nut outside the dealer. My local parts stores carry nothing for the yaris except plugs, filters, and a special order axle. That's about it.

Dang forgot its different for other people who don't live in the bay area. Where I live theres probably about 35 part stores within a 20 mile radius. If you go to the dealer with the part numbers i listed then they should be able to get you the right part then no problem. Otherwise if you want to paypal me 5 bucks I can put one in a envelope with a stamp on it and send it your way.

Well I have a part sitting at the dealer right now just wasn't able to make it there today. Hopefully I will have more time tomorrow and we will see if the numbers match up.

Sorry if it's bad manners to resurrect a 2-year-old post. I'm a complete car novice, and a friend of mine is going to help me with a few repairs recommended by a local shop. I was told one of my output shaft seals is leaking. Should I get the parts mentioned by YarisSedan (90311-34042 for the left and 90311-34023 for the right)? I got a bit confused by the discussion about the dust cover versus the actual seal. Do I need to get both?
Any help would be appreciated! |

Hi everyone,
My output shaft seal from passenger side (right) is leaking. I bought new 75W90 (2L of motul motylgear) for repair and I have to buy parts to fix this but i'm a bit confused I know that I have to buy the 90311-34023 (90311-W0003 for Toyota's stores in France). What about the dust cover which is 41336D ? Do I have to buy a new one or it won't be necessary to replace it ? The Output shaft seal is 43410M :) Sorry for my english ;) |
