2010 Yaris Cigarette lighter outlet problem
I have a 2010 Yaris. I use the cigarette lighter outlet to power my GPS and XM radio. The problem is that whenever the power adapter is jostled, the power cuts off. If I reposition it I can find a spot where the power will come on again, until it is jostled once more. It is not the contact between adapter and socket that is the problem, I'm absolutely sure about that. No matter what adapter I use, same result. If the 12 volt socket is levered the slightest bit by the adapter, power cuts off. Any ideas as to what can be done about this? Thanks in advance for any advice.
