HID KIT DILEMMA

Alright I am upgading to some HIDS, McCulloch's. And I can't decide on which rating to choose. I have narrowed it down to 3 colors. The 6000 K, which is the brightest and whitest. The 8000 K, which is a blue. And the 10000 K, which is a purple. I just can't make up my mind. Any suggestions, or pics of anyone that has any of those in there yaris now would be totally awesome. Thanks

My personal choice 6000K, everything else looks kind of tacky without a projector, plus might get you in trouble with the law.

Are you changing the reflector housing or keeping the stock reflector type and just adding the kit? I would agree on the 6000k. Would like to see some pics when you get this installed also.

I am just adding the kit. The only reason I am leading towards the 8000 K is because for the fogs I am getting 3000 K HIDs there. So I guess it is between the 6000 K and the 8000 K. Thanks for your guys help.

I would really recommend something between 4000k and 5000k. 6000k and up you lose a lot of brightness and usable light, only gaining ricey blue color in exchange.

Anything over 6000k, and you better buy a flashlight to hold out the window at night.

Google some background on the K ratings of HID bulbs. Higher number does not = brighter.

Example, OEM's use 4100k in all the stock factory equipted cars/trucks on the road today. Why? BEcause its the most "usable light" output.
