if i don't like something i don't buy/use it. pretty simple concept isn't it. so again you don't like the Yaris leave , sell it and go buy a Fit , Aveo or other car. again you hear only what you want.
you'd make a great politcian .

And I totally understand that. I'm a single guy, and I'm fortunate to have a little extra disposable income to play with. In many many ways, I am very lucky, and I always try to remind myself of that.

The thread started out well enough because it was a strict comparison, not a "This is UNDENIABLY better than that" thread. Then someone decided that subjective opinions are the basis for legitimate reviews/comparisons...

Sometimes I miss being single. If I was single and have the job I have now I would have so much extra cash that I would be able to finish my Yaris and have enough money left over to buy enough guns to arm a small army.

Eww, guns don't interest me at all. I do like cars, books, modern/pop art, travelling, fine dining and Broadway though...

Guns are tools. It's like being afraid of a hammer.

Enjoy your guns...I have no interest in them whatsoever. I find them creepy and unnerving, but that's just me of course.

Gotta jet...off to a Quincy Jones interview & book-signing event tonight.

I LOVE NEW YORK...and my Phit Sport!!

sorry, I do. They are SO not part of my life, and will never be. If you like them, great. As I've said, I have less than zero interest in them. My interests range from the arts, to cars, to running/working out, hopping the globe, politics, books and my 2009 Phit Sport. Guns are not anywhere on my radar.

But I want YOU to enjoy them!

I'm not trying to start a fight and that's cool that you want me to enjoy them and I do but I don't see how you can think a gun is creepy? Sure you can hurt someone with a gun but you can hurt someone with a knife and your bare hands too. Are you afraid of them too?

Bobby why does someone who claims to live in Manhatten..... need two economy cars? Public transportation in NY is great and parking sucks.

The Phit is here in Manhattan with me, the Yaris is in the burbs with my folks. Nobody needs a car in NYC, this is true. The public transportation system here is incredible and very efficient. I have it because I want it. Most people I know in Manhattan don't have or want cars...they rent a car if/when they need one. I have friends/family in DC, in New England, etc, and I use it to visit them. I almost never drive IN the city (no reason to...parking is awful and expensive) but I use it when I want a getaway. Fortunately, in my neighborhood, the parking is fairly easy. I have not had a parking ticket in over a year, no easy feat in NYC. I have the parking situation well under control.

So, the quick answer is that for me it (having a car in the city) is a luxury. I certainly don't need it for work. I can walk or ride my bike to work, or take the subway 3 quick stops to my office.

Okay. Yes I do know Manhatten and no parking tickets is not only a feat but a full time job with alternate side..... I was under the impression that you kept both in the city.

LOL 3 stops on a subway is nothing if you are talking local and you should walk...... now 2 on the express is a bit further.
