1961 Chevy Impala SS
Only 142 were built with the legendary 409. Just an awesome and beautiful car. http://www.musclecarclub.com/musclec...istory-1.shtml |

I love a lot of classics, but three cars that always come to mind are the following: The De Tomaso Pantera which was built from 1971-1991 and sounds like a bat out of hell and looks meaner than most on the road. The James Dean death car, the 1955 Porsche Spyder "Lil' Bastard," a car that I would like to replicate someday. Of course, I have to mention the 1965 427 Shelby Cobra, this is probably the most insane car I've ever ridden in...seemingly endless torque and acceleration in a car so powerful and so dangerous...I want them all.

Favorite classic car, oh boy, where do I start!!
I can't find it on my HD anymore but purely for style, I'd have to go with this one However, for sentimental reason, I'd say this one: Citroen 2CV (one of the slowest cars on the planet, EVER, but it always put a smile on my face. I would own one if the parts weren't a pain in the butt to obtain. |

Looks like the first car didn't load. Let me try again.
I love huge classic American cars of the 50's, especially the 1957 Chevy: |

The 2CV was for fun, or for sentimental reason.
The 57 Chevy was for style. Now for speed.... hmmmm... let me think about it a while. How far back in time do you have to go for a car to be considered "classic?" |

Speed? Again, I refer you to the Napier Railton racer. Google it, you will be impressed...

Here it is; 2 tons of "oh, dear!" Pic is from 1998, vehicle is a museum piece, initially rescued from parachute testing. GQ Parachutes owned it, used it to test aircraft braking chutes...

Yup, the Tiger is a nice little road car, suffered some deficiencies like rear axle hop; ANY irregularity in the pavement would set it off!
My favourite Cobra is the old 289-powered one, before they went all goofy with the fenders and paint-roller tires. |
