I didn't use any resistors. It's straight up plug 'n play. I can't remember where I got the LEDs, but I'm almost 95% certain they're the standard white LEDs from Advance AutoParts.

Nice idea!
Actually, what if the LEDs were wired to the side blinkers? I think it would be sorta functional and look pretty cool (probably have to be in amber to be legal though).

That could work. What I've found is you can hot glue it in there, too. It seals it up nice and keeps it from going anywhere. I'm interested to hear back about the resistors, though. While I don't think they're necessary, it doesn't hurt to be 100% :-p

Sure, I'll do that in the morning when it's lighter out. It's pretty simple to find..

my place, quite cheap..less than USD100..the blue light will connect to small light, the amber will connect to the blinker..very neat..you can always connect the blue light at the dome light if you want..

Could there be a way to make the handle light up after you press the unlock button on the power lock remote?

Does your dome light come on when you unlock your car?

lol, i checked that this morning when I got in the car, and it does.

I think it would be sweet at night to have the handles light up when you go to the car. Being a 3 door, this mod looks very doable...

So you Louisville guys want to get together and do this sometime?

To quote a thread I found on another thread. I would have taken this same picture...
