Let me know how the flasher relay works. I tried this on one of my jeeps and the led flasher relay didn't work all that well so I just went back to conventional bulbs.

I walked past my yaris this morning and thought to myself, I should install those gauges at some point... In fact, I do that every morning for the past 4 months

Success! The new flasher relay arrived today. I just finished the swap moments ago and tested it. No more hyper-blinking turn signals. No need for resistors either. Extra points for being a cheap and a direct plug-and-play mod. Now I'll have to see how long it lasts for. (hopefully for the life of the car)

Good to know. Thanks for the update. Any video on how it flashes with the new relay? Thanks.

Spanked it around the Tire Rack test track with the SBR SCCA. Got spanked in my class (SMF), but had a great time.

@aspro

Here's a small video. The flashing speed is good, but the light stays on for a bit before it starts flashing.

Ada boy! Thanks man I appreciate the video update. Those rear LEDs burn nice! I may just go ahead with this. What were the part numbers for the rear turn signals?

Astro: I used 7443 led bulbs for the rear turn signals. Not sure what the "proper" replacement leds are.

WeeYari: I can make a separate thread in the DIY section if you think people might find it useful.

^ someone already has found it useful so yeah, I believe a standalone thread would be warranted.

Nice! I've been getting a little bored with my car lately and toying with the idea of lowering it. I think it would inject some life into it for me.

Did this a few days ago: Megan Racing c-pillar bar. Does it do anything? No. But it sure looks cool in my rear view mirror LOL.

After 3 days of intermittent heavy rains, I noticed that the clearcoat is lifting off about 1/4 of my roof!

Legit.

I've missed cruise control almost as much as power mirrors.
