Side Markers
Hi, this is my first post. Thanks for all the wealth of information on all the other posts! Has anyone changed the color of the amber side markers yet? I pulled it out and its a whole housing(glued together). I want to change the little bulb to Hyper white instead. Per the manual it says you need to change the whole housing. I am going to try to put my heat gun to it to melt the glue...hope I don't mess it up haha...I also want to drill another hole and install another bulb in there so I can turn on my lamps all the time since it only blinks when you signal. Or I can just splice into the bulb and keep the light on. We'll see.

The heat gun is a bit messy.

I've always wanted to do that. Splitting up the housing is a little risky since I'm afraid water will get in. Yaris is a new car so there's still not much aftermarket accessories but who knows if you wait a little longer you can just buy the the whole cover with the bulb. Post your result if you are successful though. Good Luck.
