Sad to say, but its time to see him go

So after 5 1/2 years and nearly 190,000 miles, its time for Yoshi to be buried (My '09 Yaris) ....

First off sorry I fell off the face of the earth .... The Yaris community isn't as cool on the east coast ... that and I bought a '03 Honda CBR 600 RR Named Bowser (Notice a trend) that has taken up all of my free time.

Now I know the next question on everyone's mind is "what happened" Well to be honest it was actually my fault  I was traveling down a two lane road and just missed my turnoff and pulled off onto the shoulder ..... for once there weren't that many cars on that road so I counted the cars coming behind me in my side view mirror ..... 1...2....3...4...5.... and ::Illegal Uturn:: I noticed (Mid U-turn) that there was one car that I had missed and my reaction was to floor the gas pedal, which got me out of the way enough for the other car not to hit me right on my passenger side door but instead hit the back drivers side tire and rear quarterpannel. She hit me at about 45-55MPH spinning me around and immobilizing the vehicle ... the pics of the Yaris are after they started to dig into the damage

how did my fairly new Yaris get totaled by $5,500 - $6,000 worth of damage ? 190,000 miles :(

and the last thing I'm sure is on everyone's mind .... what did I get as a replacement ? A barely used 2011 Honda CRZ his name is Mario (I'm carrying on the trend) ..... I've had him for about a week and I'm fairly happy with him ..... the worst part about it is that now I have to go introduce myself to all the "Honda guys' and we all know they're not as cool as the Yaris guys!

Nice choice on your replacement vehicle!

I went to see the CRZ at a dealership a few weeks ago and I kinda liked it, but the price tag was pretty out there...

Anyway, glad everyone's OK.

I drool over Honda CRZ's.....if they were in the price range of a Yaris, I'd have that instead.

Glad to see that you're alright! Just because you got a CRZ doesn't mean you can't hang around here!

If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

Sad to see your H.B. get ruined . Good that your fine . The CRZ is a sharp car . Keep us updated on its F.E. and overall performance . Did you get the $1,000 discount through HONDA financing along with a low rate ? That deal was on the '13 Insights and '13 Civic hybrids over a month ago when we wandered into the showroom . You'd think this would apply to the CRZ as well . The dealer also had their own discount of over a $1,000 . Enjoy and stay in touch .

The price is the reason I got a '11 instead of a brand new one... It was the same price as a new Yaris .... Even less I think. Also the fact that it was really hard for me to find a 6 speed in red. And one of the things I was thinking of was a black spoiler!
