Dust Storm Video
We had a dust storm here a week ago. I got this email of a video of it. Watch it all from start to finish. Amazing......
Don't think i'd head into that at 100Km/h (60 MPH).

LOL WOw, thats crazy!
And running into that cloud at that speed and continuing, is just asking to kill yourself. That car that was running from it had the right idea..... I wonder how fast it was moving though. |

Yeah, got hit with one of those in Arizona. You pull off as far as you can, park until it goes by, then get on your way. Engine off, lights off, and Don't touch the brake!
When it cleared, there were 35 cars in a giant pileup a couple of hundred yards from where we had stopped... |

I think a change of their air filter is in order. A friend mine got hit with a sand storm in the foot hills driven by 90 mph winds. Sand blasted the paint off the right side of his car.

^Kinda makes you imagine watching a car disappear into a big brown cloud, then hearing a very loud crash

... and that's the reason to pull over ASAP. Guys run through it at speed, other guys slow down. The resulting collisions put a stop to everything, more collisions occur. The AZ pileup had 2 Hondas pile onto the top of a limo, quite spectacular...

Its crazy how those things form like that.
Whats crazier is the idiots that run right through it like there isnt a care in the world. Maybe they have a wish to repaint their car and maybe a death wish as well? I just don't get it. If I saw that, I dont care if I just drove 300miles to that location, Im turning around until it goes away PERIOD. |

Jeesh, that's pretty cool.
But I'm with TL, get off the road as far as you can and don't touch the break, as soon as someone sees your lights, they are going to think the road is over there. |
