seems a little steep, but then again, you are under 25. that seems to be the magic number for insurance companies. the wifey and i pay $2K a year for a 2006 sienna xle, a 2007 yaris LB, and a 1997 avalon xls, full coverage. we use AAA, which means we arent paying the lowest price either, but we absolutely love and recommend their customer service. we could prolly go with mercury or geico and save a couple hundred bucks. my $0.02

I'm about to leave Progressive ...

E-Surance and Geico are the cheapest for me and insurance is a pain in the ass in NY.

Biggest monopoly POS since microsoft.
Pardon my rant, just wish we had options.

I have one accident four years ago, Im 27 with a family and a four door and they wanted 2400+ a year.
Ive since cancelled my extended coverage and now pay $47 a month to pink slip it until I can pick up third part extended coverage.

Smile Insurance rates

Hey,

Shop around all insurance companies use your credit history and age factors for your auto insurance rates. All companies handle the pricing differently. Go to netquote.com or do a general search for multiple insurance quotes finder.

Insurance rates under age 25 with activity is expensive. No doubt about it. FYI: The additional premium for the cite will drop after 3 yrs.

Good luck.

depends on who your carrier is. mine is pretty high, but it's lower with the Yaris compared to my previous car, a '97 GTI.
