Hello from Austria!

Hello to all!

I´m Mike from Austria. I am 28, test bed engineer at a prototype factory here in Austria. (Automotive prototypes) My rides are a 2002 Yaris Ts, a daihatsu mira (oncoming 4ag project ;-) ) and a quite powerful Nissan Pulsar GTI-r (dynoed 215kw at the wheels ;-) )
I have my Yaris Ts (2002 1nzfe model) for about 2 weeks now, and i am very happy with it. But i want to modify some parts and i´ll need advice. I already ordered some parts. (buddyclub racing spec coilover, c-one flywheel, trd clutch, exhaust box from blitz, cai, coils, spark plugs, and (maybe if its available) a trd lsd...) i also want to buy a pulley kit for my ncp13, but i don´t know if the one from nst will fit my ncp13 (only for the 06 on models...) I say thanks for answers to my thread and i´ll post pics, if my cam is back from repair.

Ps: Please forgive my Englisch.... i am from Austria (not Australia)

The NST pulley's should fit no problem.

Oh, and why are you ordering coils? Is there something wrong with the stock ones?

No it isn´t. A friend of mine has got a set of okada coils (new and never used). He´s selling them for ´bout 400 euro (like 450 Usd) so i buy them. The plan for the future is a supercharger kit, so maybe the coils are better. Btw if not, i´ll sell them.

Send a message via AIM to Nexus1155
Search for threads, someone else used Okada coils and everything, apparently they are not worth it.

Save your money for something better :)

Do you have a pet kangaroo?

Just kidding, I have spent a bit of time in Austria...Vienna mostly, but other parts of the country from Wolfsthal in the east, to Salzburg and Innsbruck, to my favorite loop around Ehrwald, Biberwier and Lermoos! I love the country and the people (my aunt is Austrian).

And I do remember these t-shirts!

Anyhow, 'howdy' from Texas and welcome to the forum!

Tschüß! M2

Hey, greetings from California and welcome to the forum!

Your English is just fine, no worries

I went trough Austria a long time ago. I vaguely remember going trough Salzburg and Innsbruck, but I remember Vienna the most and the one day trip to the "other side of the Iron curtain" to Bratislava (?) if memory serves.

Great people indeed. It was fun.
