fiat abarth or supercharge the yaris ?!?!?!?
Im really torn between the 2. I had the regular 500 for 3 months and traded it in with a bigger car in order to keep the wife happy n safe. ... loved the car, no problem whatsoever with that and now the abarth is coming out but with the $25K price tags .... not really worry about the price...Im just itching for a new car.
the Yaris on the other hand, pretty much souped up. has about 26K miles on it, has the tanabe coilover, UR 23mm rear sway bar, 18" trd rims with brand new sets bf goodrich all season tires, rear disc conversion, bigger front disk upgrade, weapon R header, nitto midpipe and exhaust , Real Red Recaro seats , HID's on both headlights n fogs....N I have a set of stereos Plus the Blitz supercharger waiting to be install ... I drive the car pretty much everyday....and I have 2 other supercharged cars .... what do you guys think .... |

Only you can really know what will make you happy.
But...if you decide to part out the Yaris I'd be interested in the UR bar and both front and rear brake upgrades.

if you already have the s/c might as well install it and get it tuned and see how you like it. If you don't have it yet i'd suggest a turbo, in general you can get more power from them.

$25,000 for an abarth 500? I hate to say it but do you know how many other cars you could buy from the same price that would STOMP that Fiat? I know it's more than just performance numbers when it comes to buying a car but I couldn't see anyone paying more than $21 or $22,000 for that car. It's like the Mini Cooper works cars...you must have money to blow or just plain not thinking to spend $35,000+ on penalty box like that.
Now I know the JCW can kick some major grass on the corners and it's pretty quick too, but I could go buy a Subaru STI for the same price and kick the hell out of it in every aspect.

If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important. |

Agree with the above comments... I love the Fiat 500 (especially the Abarth) but it is way overpriced.
I think you will have more fun overall with the SC on the Yaris. Then again, if money is no object... It's always nice getting a brand new car...

vten, as long as you're itching to blow a lot of money on a sub-car with shitty performance, why not get a Smart ForTwo and call it a day?
Or, you could spend a lot less money and get a true small performance car like an RSX-S or Miata. Or if you have all that money to blow, get a freakin Lotus Elise. |

If have money to blow, get a Nissan GTR and call it a day. It is pretty ridiculous when it comes to acceleration in that thing...

"Built not bought" so I'd go for charging the Yaris. Makes for a more custom and possibly more reliable ride.

No question...stay toyota. I wish i got into toyotas sooner in my life...would have saved a bunch of money...especially in gas in the long run.
Ill never own anything else for something i especially want to rely on.

supercharge the Yaris sir :)
Speaking from far away, I say "IF" you were to have a hand full of cash that would sum up to $25,000.....then you could lay down that money on the Scion FR-S. <-- fun package + reliability ;) |

supercharge the yaris and ditch the boat anchor trd 18's
you won't regret it i dyno'd 135whp/130wtq with my setup (155bhp and 150btq) and loved every second of it in my opinion, a modified car has a TON more personality than a factory-spec car

Just get a ferrari (any model) and it will blow out every car here even with stock parts (don't know why anybody would butcher a ferrari anyways).
